By now most of you know that I STC been in the hospital, I want to apoligize for not doing any work on this website for over 5 months.

I'm back to work and I'm working over time to get everything updated ASAP

That time of the year is here again for our 3rd annual Tournament and fund raising to benefic the Army Emergency Relief Fund.

This year we have more sponsors and more prizes, we have an Intel system with water cooling system and a 19" NEC monitor

Intel Core 2 Quad, Intel motherboard 975, 2GB DDR memory, 320GB SATA Hard Drive, DVDRW, Nvidia 8800 320MB, Thermaltake Water cooling system, Clear Case, 630Watts Power Supply, 19" NEC monitor, Zboard Keyboard and Mouse.

Samsung Laser Printer, Speakers, Processors, Keyboards and much more.

We are also going to have Nvidia T-shirts, Back Packs and BFG Tech Video Cards

The U.S. Army is bringing a BBQ Trailer for Hotdogs and Hamburgers;
Coca Cola is bringing a truck with sodas.

Intel will be on location with NEC and Samsung

The America's Army team will be on location with the branded America's Army Tent, Missile TOW simulator, M4A1 simulator, Future Soldier Simulator and the branded America's Army Hummer. We are also going to have the U.S. Army branded Hummer and a couple more goodies plus some more surprise, Live Music and live FM radio Station

Our Second Annual Gaming Night to benefit the AERF went great! We had a lot of players from TBA, who kicked our team left and right except for one game, overall we had a great time.

Our Team needs a lot more practice, when it comes to tournaments and learns how to play in TEAM MODE and not in RAMBO MODE.

Our sponsors were great and gave us some wonderful prizes, especially Intel with 2 Pentium D Dual Core Processors, Thermaltake with some nice cooling fans (we were expecting some cases), and Logitech sent some nice head phones, speakers and some other goodies, NEC let us use the best monitors they make for video Gaming. (THEY ARE HOT) check them out NEC G90X2. If you are looking for a good monitor this is the monitor to use.

WSAV our local TV station had a nice interview with =DHS=GatorMeat about the tournament. He was on TV twice that day. We collected some good money for the Army Emergency relief fund $ 560.00. We are expecting to double this amount next year, but we need more sponsors for the next event which should be on April 7, 2007.

Our Honor Server was great that day, didn’t crash at all. Thanks to Intel and Surf Tech Computers we have an Intel Pentium D Dual Core with 4 GB DDR 2 memories on that server. Most of the time we have no lag and our ping is way low with room for 26 players and a nice internet connection.

Our 2nd annual Tournament will be on March Saturady 25th 2006 from 1:00 p.m. until 12:00 Mid night.

As of right now we are working to get this year's sponsors we are hopping to have a better Tournament this year with more sponsors and more players.

• Our main sponsor Surf Tech Computers they are setting up our first ever honor server
• Surf Tech Computers will have 10 to 15 servers all honor plus 1 extra server to practice and to try all the new releases
• As of right now we are trying to practice every day for about a couple of hours each.
• We are ready to challenge any team at any time especially GIA Clan and S.O.T. clan.

Who we are!

We are glad that you have chosen to visit our site. We are a gaming group who play Americas Army Operations. The =DHS= was formed initially for Department of Homeland Security employees. Do to the fact that we could not find the amount of players who like to play our game at work we have branched-out to include non-government employees. Our current goals are to recruit good players who wish to compete in tournament play.

Our Mission

The current mission for the =DHS= is to become one of the best AAO groups that play the game. We are currently 20 players strong and growing rapidly.

Recruiting

Currently we are recruiting one or two players a week to allow them to adjust to the playing styles of our current members. This strategy is for the benefit of all our members this way everyone will get to know the new personnel before we recruit more players.
